Eureka Mignon Silenzio Coffee Grinder
The Mignon Silenzio (it means silence in Italian) is a very silent coffee grinder indeed. But it does not stop there because it is also packed with Eureka’s latest technology and available at one of the best values you will find out there. If you are looking for a simple and easy-to-use stepless coffee grinder this is the one for you.
Why You Should Get It
The Mignon Silenzio does exactly what its name suggests; it grinds very quietly, and it does so efficiently. The micrometric grind adjustment knob is one of the easiest ways to make very fine changes to grind size that we've experienced, as well. Plus, with a height of under 35cm, this coffee and espresso grinder will fit just about anywhere.
Eureka Mignon Silenzio Overview
The Eureka Mignon Silenzio is an all-purpose grinder with simple manual controls a series of subtle features under the hood.
Features and Performance
For those controls, the Mignon Silenzio uses a push-button to switch between timed and manual modes and a dial for adjusting grind time. It's a quiet grinder, measuring in at about 73 dBA, so you won't ever need to stop a conversation to make your drinks. It brings Eureka's patented micrometric adjustment, so you expect smooth, stepless adjustments when dialing in the grind. For performance, it's equipped with 50 mm flat hardened steel burrs and a strong 1350 RPM motor. Eureka's ACE system helps prevent clumping by eliminating static in ground coffee, which in turn ensures dose consistency.

This is a really good grinder for espresso as it's stepless. You can fine-tune your grind for creating the perfect espresso shot. It's also relatively quiet compared with other grinders I've used before. No need to wake everyone in the house while making coffee.
Not recommended for switching between filter/Aeropress coffee and espresso. You will have a hard time dialling-in your grind for your espresso shot because you do not have a reference point for grind size.
My only complaint would be the screw that's meant for tightening the lock to keep the bean reservoir in place. The screw that came with the grinder was too small for the hole, which defeats the purpose of tightening at all.
Solid, quiet, and fast. We wanted to get a "real" grinder without breaking the bank. This one accomplishes all of that.
The only thing that could be improved upon is the grind adjustment. It's a little difficult to make fine adjustments. We knew that going in and could have spent a lot more money for a grinder with that feature.
